MicroPower Technologies Now Integrates with
March Networks Command VMS
Integration enables customers to leverage powerful outdoor surveillance options
San Diego – March 25, 2014 — MicroPower Technologies Inc., an award-winning provider of surveillance solutions optimized for rapid, cost-effective deployment, announced today that it has completed integration of its solar, wireless surveillance system with the March Networks Command™ 1.7 video management system (VMS).
The integration between the two innovative platforms further simplifies installation and overall system management for integrators and joint customers. MicroPower customers benefit from using the Helios surveillance system with a video management platform that streamlines the user experience and speeds investigation times. The March Networks Command software enables organizations to configure recordings and monitor IP camera performance easily via a single, browser-based VMS interface. Combining the usability of Command with the streamlined installation and energy management advantages of the MicroPower system enables joint customers to realize cost and operational efficiencies.
“The integration of our Command VMS with the MicroPower wireless IP camera system provides organizations with a flexible, easy-to-deploy option for outdoor video surveillance,” said Dan Cremins, Director of Product Management, March Networks. “Working with proven providers like MicroPower Technologies is a priority for our company as it extends customers’ capabilities in a wide range of environments.”
MicroPower Technologies delivers reliable and cost-effective wireless video surveillance solutions that create superior value for customers by reducing deployment and infrastructure costs. Its surveillance platform is a completely wireless video security solution that requires no cabling for power or data transmission. This approach removes the restrictions found with traditional outdoor cameras and allows users to place cameras at the point of highest risk without added installation complexity.
“The integration with March Networks’ Command video management software further broadens the accessibility of our wireless surveillance system by furthering our network of trusted VMS partners,” said Dave Tynan, Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales, MicroPower Technologies. “It is our goal to simplify the deployment of perimeter surveillance applications by removing traditional barriers, and our integration with March Networks is a key part of this initiative.”
